Living the Lifestyle They Sell: Andrea & Arturo, our Los Cabos Sotheby’s International Realty advisors in San José del Cabo

When Andrea and Arturo met, it didn’t take long to realize they had more in common than a shared love for real estate. Driven by a passion for wellness, professionalism, and purposeful living, their recent partnership brings a dynamic synergy to the San José del Cabo real estate scene, where they now focus their combined expertise.

A Place to Call Home

Andrea has called San José del Cabo home since the 1980s, when her family first fell in love with the striking contrast between the ocean and the desert. “The weather here is just spectacular,” she says. “It’s dry, sunny, and the lifestyle is easygoing but elegant. Raising my children in a quiet, family-oriented town like this has been one of the greatest blessings.”

Arturo arrived more recently, relocating during the pandemic after living in India. He quickly connected with the town’s unique blend of nature, wellness, and community. “I’ve lived in many places, but this is by far the best year-round climate I’ve experienced. Between yoga, tennis, pickleball, and long walks on the beach with my dogs, this is a place that brings people back to themselves.”

Wellness as a Way of Life—and Business

Both Andrea and Arturo live what they preach. From sunrise yoga and meditation to disciplined morning routines, wellness shapes how they live—and how they work. “If you’re well inside, it shows,” says Andrea. “People trust you when your energy is aligned. I treat people the way I want to be treated.”

Arturo agrees: “Discipline in life spills over into business. Whether it’s sports or luxury real estate, I give it my all. That intention is what builds trust with clients.”

Their daily habits—Andrea’s garden meditations and sun salutations, Arturo’s visualizations and morning workouts—create a foundation for how they show up for their clients: focused, intentional, and genuinely engaged.

A Shared Vision, A Stronger Partnership

It was a natural fit. With Andrea’s deep-rooted knowledge of San José del Cabo and Arturo’s global perspective from living abroad, their skill sets complement each other perfectly. “If I have a weakness, Arturo covers it with his strength—and vice versa,” Andrea says. “We’re both committed, both disciplined, and both believe in full transparency with our clients.”

Arturo adds, “We work hard, but we also have fun. And that makes the experience enjoyable for our clients too.”

Their shared values are reflected in how they approach each transaction: with honesty, care, and a focus on long-term relationships. Whether it’s a first-time relocation or an investment property, Andrea and Arturo guide clients every step of the way, simplifying everything from community orientation to utility setup. They’re more than just real estate agents; they become trusted advisors to their clients.

Why San José del Cabo?

When asked to describe San José del Cabo, Andrea calls it elegant, casual, and authentic – more chic. With its charming art district, top-tier restaurants, organic markets, and wellness-focused communities, it’s a city that offers both sophistication and grounded simplicity.

Arturo adds, “It’s not about being fancy—it’s about living naturally. You’re surrounded by beauty, local culture, and opportunities to be active outdoors. That’s what makes it special.”

With top communities like Palmilla, Querencia, and Puerto Los Cabos continuing to attract discerning buyers, Andrea and Arturo note a consistent trend: demand for high-quality homes, often over US$750,000, remains strong. And on the horizon? The East Cape is emerging, with world-class developments like Aman at Costa Palmas and growing interest in areas like Cabo Pulmo.

A Global Perspective

With backgrounds that span continents—Andrea’s German-Mexican heritage and Arturo’s international career—both agents understand the complexities of relocating. More importantly, they know how to make it easier for others.

“When people arrive, they need more than a house—they need guidance,” says Andrea. “Where to shop, how to get utilities set up, even just where to go for yoga or a great dinner.”

Their global mindset and multilingual fluency (Spanish, English, German) make them relatable to clients from all over the world. Combined with the reach of Sotheby’s International Realty, they offer a smooth experience whether clients are buying locally or investing abroad.

Real Estate with Heart

When it comes to real estate, Andrea and Arturo agree: the key is to listen deeply. “It’s not about whether someone is local or foreign,” Andrea says. “It’s about their purpose. Are they investing? Moving their family? Looking for a second home? Once we understand that, we can find the right fit.”

Transparency, honesty, and thorough guidance are non-negotiables in their practice. “We walk clients through each step and make sure they feel supported and informed—no surprises,” Arturo adds.

Their Professional Mantras?

  • Andrea: “Professionalism, heart, and finishing what I start.”
  • Arturo: “Get better every day, and do everything as well as you can.”

A Final Word: Dream Team

When asked to describe their partnership in one word, Andrea answers without hesitation: “Dream team.” Arturo adds: “Unity. We bring different strengths, but we share the same values—and that’s what makes it work.”

From sold-out listings in Palmilla to deep community connections, Andrea and Arturo are building more than just a business—they’re creating a lifestyle brand rooted in trust, wellness, and local expertise.

So whether you’re relocating, investing, or simply dreaming of a new view, Andrea and Arturo are ready to help you find your place in San José del Cabo.

Swing for Heroes: A Golf Tournament that changes lives in San Jose del Cabo

On August 31st, the San Jose del Cabo Campestre Club hosted an exciting golf tournament with a noble purpose: to support the brave firefighters of the region. This was the fourth year of this amazing event, which started in 2019, resumed in 2022, and has been going strong ever since.

We had the opportunity to chat with Diego Sanchez, president of the San Jose del Cabo Firefighters Foundation, who highlighted the tournament’s excellent acceptance by the golf community in Los Cabos and its goal to raise awareness about the association’s importance.

The event raised vital funds to equip and strengthen this rescue team in need of our help. At Los Cabos Sotheby’s International Realty, we’re proud to be part of this community and support initiatives that promote social well-being. This year, we were thrilled to see our broker Marco Ehrenberg, and one of our top realtors Roberto Gonzalez in action, leading a team in the exciting scrambler format.

Attendees enjoyed a dreamlike course surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes and fellow sports enthusiasts. There were prizes for the top four places, but the real winner was the community, as all funds raised will support the San Jose del Cabo firefighters.

Events like the Golf Tournament to Benefit the San Jose del Cabo Firefighters remind us that golf besides a sport, is a powerful tool for positive change in our community.

Support the San Jose del Cabo firefighters with your donation today! They accept non-profit donations all year round.

Swing for Heroes!

East Cape, Los Cabos: Luxury Redefined

At Mexico’s number one luxury travel destination, you may not expect deserted beaches, quiet fishing villages, groves of mango trees, and more dirt roads than paved ones. But for those looking for a different sort of Los Cabos, the East Cape is simply incomparable.

Often referred to as Old Baja, this region is on the eastern coast of Baja Sur, stretching along the Sea of Cortez from San Jose del Cabo to El Cardonal, which is very close to the city of La Paz. The East Cape encompasses more than 100 km of some of the most beautiful and pristine beaches Baja has to offer. Access to these secluded spots is difficult, resulting in the area being sparsely populated – a sharp contrast to the cities of San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.
